X-Care Privacy Requests
For current and former employees of X-Care, or for customers and fans of X-Care.
X-Care is aware of its obligations as a service provider with reference to the personal data it manages, processes, and stores, and is responsible for a duty of care for the personal data within its control. X-Care acknowledges that laws in the United States or other countries may not be as protective of your privacy as those in your location. Thus, X-Care shall adhere to and comply with the most protective applicable data privacy laws (collectively, the “Law”).
Data subjects whose personal data is held by X-Care are entitled under the Law to ask the service provider about their right to know of the information collected, delete the information collected, opt out of information collected, transfer information collected, correct the information collected, limit the use of information collected, access and limit information collected for use in automated decision-making technology, and not to be discriminated or retaliated against for exercising rights under the Law.
The data subject must also be told about the sources from which X-Care derived the information, so long as those sources are available to X-Care, and for a copy of the information held, in response to a valid request to that effect. The right does not extend to information that is not open to public inspection, for example to provide proof of entitlement to benefits. X-Care will, however, require sufficient details to readily locate the information requested and cannot undertake open-ended searches.
To exercise one of your rights with respect to your own data held by X-Care, you will need to populate a Data Subject Request Form and submit the completed form, available by PDF download, to X-Care, along with multiple forms of current identification bearing your photograph and your signature that will allow us to verify your identity and match that identity with our data records, such as a copy of your passport, driver’s license, and other supporting documentation.
This form, and all accompanying supporting documentation, is a means to assist X-Care in accurately verifying the identity of the data subject or requestor.
You are encouraged to complete the Data Subject Access Request Form with as much relevant detail as possible to assist X-Care in accurately identifying the location or locations of your personal data. X-Care will respond to your request as quickly as possible, and without undue delay, once we have received all of the necessary information required to process your request. The more detail you are able to provide concerning your request, the more effective X-Care will be in fulfilling the request.
Please note that in limited circumstances, your data subject rights may not apply, in order to strike a balance between the rights of the individual and the operational requirements of X-Care. For this reason, there are circumstances under which X-Care will withhold certain data from disclosure. These circumstances will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
When X-Care receives a verifiable consumer request to delete personal information, X-Care will delete the consumer’s personal information from its records and direct any service providers to delete the consumer’s personal information from their records.
X-Care will confirm receipt of your Data Subject Request form within ten (10) days of submission. We aim to respond to a consumer request for access or deletion within forty-five (45) days of receiving that request. If we require more time, we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing.

As we value your privacy and in light of the nature of the personal information requested, please note that we can guarantee your rights only upon receipt of a verifiable consumer request.
